Altitude 19,320 feet - the highest point in Africa

I loved my trip to Tanzania to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. I almost didn't go, thinking it might be too difficult and I might not reach the top. Thank goodness my sense of adventure kicked in! Getting to the top was not the point; it was the experience of trying.

My philosophy: Because we live in a free country, we're bombarded with choices our entire life. Don't be afraid of them, embrace the choices you have to make.

Some risks are worth taking. Invest all your money to start your own business? Investing in yourself is almost always a good idea. The most successful people failed many times, enough times so they were no longer afraid to fail, but they kept trying.

Some risks, are always too high, like drinking and driving.
